Design Systems with Storybook
Abstract
After adopting Storybook at LeanIX in the beginning of June we've seen a major positive impact on how developers and designers collaborate. The built in hot module reloading saves a lot of time when building UI components over Angular's live reload.
The goal of this talk is to get you to start using Storybook, which can kickstart establishing a Design System / Living Styleguide and a component library. I will also explain why you would want those.
I will also show patterns we found helpful using Storybook for Angular applications, which generally improved our application architecture.
If you're wondering, Storybook is framework agnostic! It officially supports HTML, React, Angular, Vue, Svelte and many more.
